Visiting the Calvert Marine Museum with kids is an experience like no other. Located on the Chesapeake Bay, this museum offers a variety of educational and fun activities for both adults and children.
Kids can explore interactive exhibits to discover the history of the area. Make sure you stop in the Discovery room to see the Rays, Skates, starfish and frogs. It is definitely great for kids because they have a few animals that they can touch, but also perfect for adults if you’re into fossils, the history and prehistory of the region, or maritime life.
